Custom Bird houses

If you are looking for something a little bit special for the birds in your garden, then look no further. We build bird houses ranging in size from tiny Wren sized hanging boxes, through Owl and Kestrel boxes, up to the large multi-storied Titcote.
If you are not keen on our standard designs, why not suggest something else. A Chinese or Thai style bird house or maybe a specialy designed bird house based on the design of you own property.

Whatever you choose, we can advise you on the placement of the bird house to make sure it is attractive to the local birds, and fit it for you in the desired location.

 

• Titcotes choose one of our standard designs or commission a one off. The standar Titcote is built over two levels with a total of 6 individual compartments for birds. The size of entrance can be specified at the time of ordering and can be suitable for Blue tit or Great tit/sparrow. The actual openings to the compartments are hidden within the fake pigeon sized openings. The finnial at the very top of the Titcote is hand turned and can be turned to the design of your choice.
  The standard design can be commissioned as a single story house with a bird feeding table on the lower level, or ordered with a feeding table fastened to the mounting post.
  The approximate size of the standard Titcote is 40cm wide (at widest point) by 80cm tall. It is mounted upon a 7cmx7cm post and stands an impressive 2.5m tall when errected.
  
  Prices for Titcotes start at €180 for the standard model, all Titcotes are handmade so all are unique, and take around 2 weeks to make. The choice of colour is upto you, and the price for a Titcote includes post and erection.

• Owl Boxes Like most people in the South west of France, you will probably hear Owls in your garden in the evenings ans at night. Why not tempt a pair to nest in your garden by installing an Owl box. You don't need a barn to attract owls, a well sited Owl box can be just as inviting to a nesting pair.
  Our owlboxes start at €50 fitted, a small price to pay for providing a safe nesting spot for a magnificent bird.

• Small bird Boxes small well sited bird boxes provide a safe and secure spot for the smaller visitors to your garden to rear a family. Our small bird boxes range from the purely functional through to ornate Thai styled boxes. Please contact us to discus your needs.

• Spirit Houses originate from Thailand and other Bhuddist countries, their purpose is to please the spirits of ancestors that are present on your property. The spirit house provides them a place to congregate and also a place where you can provide them with a little food and alcohol. We can provide spirit houses in a number of designs and sizes, and also advise you on the best place to site it. Please contact us to discus your needs.

All of our indicated prices include fitting and erection. Delivery costs will depend on distance from Bergerac.
