Garden Care

The garden is a very important feature of houses in this region, so much time is spent outside during the year that keeping a well kept garden is essential. However if you are going to be away from the property for a length of time garden maintenance is going to fall behind. We can either be contracted to help out in the garden at certain busy times of the year, contracted for a full garden maintenance programme or just called in when needed.

• Lawn care, large lawns are not a problem, we have both ride-on and walk behind mowers so can tackle any size of lawn upto 2 acres / 1 hectare.

• Hedge trimming, hedges can be long, very long in France, and the last thing you want to be doing when you come to visit your property is struggling with the hedge trimmers instead of lazing by the pool, or buying wine. Let us take the strain and have your hedges in top condition before you arrive.

• Pruning, to get the most out of the plants in your garden you need to keep them in check, you might not be around at the best time to prune, or you might not have the time. Let us take the strain, pruning your trees, bushes and shrubs at the ideal time of the year.

• Planting/landscaping, have you got big plans for your garden but no time to implement them? Talk to us and we can help you create your dream garden, advice on planting, layout and when to embark on the project. We will also provide you with continually updated photos of progress if you are out of the country and unable to visit.

• Small/medium tree felling, whether its branch removal or tree removal, we can cope with all but the largest trees. Trees and branches can be cut to size so you can use them on your open fire or removed from site if you wish.

• Mole treatment, given free reign moles can turn the best kept lawn into a pock marked warzone in a matter of weeks. We can visit regularly to apply repelant, poison or traps during the spring and autumn when the moles are most active.

• Patio/decking cleaning, winter takes a heavy toll on patios and decking, a thorough wash down in the spring will bring them back to life over the summer.

• Wildlife, we can advise you on how to attract more wildlife to your garden if you wish, and also supply and fit, bird, Owl and bat boxes.
